Chelsea Perry-Kaufman is a curator and arts facilitator with
experience spanning private collections, public art, commercial
galleries, nonprofit arts organizations, and higher education
institutions; from San Francisco to New York. Throughout her
career, Chelsea has led initiatives that strengthen cross-
community engagement and support both emerging and
established artists alike including; facilitating public installations,
organizing civic art policies, and coordinating free creative
workshops for rural communities.
As an educator at the Kansas City Art Institute, her courses focus
on the practical and conceptual aspects of exhibition-making;
from curatorial planning to installation, audience engagement,
collaborative creative processes, and exploring alternative
exhibition models. Chelsea is passionate about cultivating
accessible arts opportunities and helping emerging creatives
develop practical tools for resilient, enduring, careers.
